The aim of the project was to invest the competiotion money (750€) in the Lottery. During the two months before the opnening of the exhibition I (the player) would spend buying lottery tickets and if any won anything the prize was reinvested again in the lottery. But putting your body and soul into something, however useless, is activating something, it is pure activity. ‘If I win,...’ was the intention of drawing up a path and go over it. Ending up where you started (but more tired). ‘If I win...’ is doing something. As Roger Caillois says: “The lottery displaces richesness, but does not create new ones”. And in this case the displacement is barely noticeable, given that the money from the Art Jove competition comes from the Lottery and returns to it.

Invertir el premi de la Sala d’Art Jove, 750 €, en loteria durant 2 els dos mesos previs a la inauguració. Els diners de la convocatòria provenien de la loteria nacional i amb el projecte es tornava a invertir en la mateixa loteria creant així un circuit tancat. Quan jo (el jugador) guanyava alguna cosa es tornava a invertir en la mateixa loteria, creant així un esforç i un treball inútil, acabant al mateix lloc on s’havia començat, però més cansat. Como Roger Caillois diu “La loteria desplaça riquesa, però no en crea de noves.” i en aquest cas el desplaçament fou gairebé invisible.

Invertir toda la cantidad del premio dado por Sala d’Art Jove, 750 €, en lotería durante 2 meses. El dinero de la convocatoria provenía de la lotería nacional y con el proyecto se volvía a invertir en ella creando un circuito cerrado. Cuando ganaba algo eso volvía a ser invertido en la lotería, creando un esfuerzo y un trabajo inútil, acabando donde se había empezado, sin nada más, pero más cansado. Como Roger Caillois dice ‘La Lotería desplaza riquezas, no crea nuevas’ y en este caso el desplazamiento fue casi invisible.
